"Governing rapid IT transformation & increasing consumption"
The last 18 months has seen massive acceleration taking place in how technology has been adopted, procured and deployed. Traditional cost and risk governance models struggle to keep up with this transformation. The consequence is increasing costs due to “all in” cloud and licensing contracts, commercial complexity and unmanaged consumption. Controlling the consumption of cloud services is now a strategic priority and with some vendors still using traditional methods of contract audits across licensing and cloud, organisations are being hit from all sides with budget challenges. Contract and asset management is evolving to meet these new governance challenges.
In this session Chris Gough, Chief Strategy Officer will take you through the key challenges organisations now face, how you should look at your own maturity and approach to these and what governance factors will deliver you successful outcomes.
PLACES ARE LIMITED AND ATTENDANCE IS BY REGISTRATION ONLY. Please register by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and await further joining instructions.Chris has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, starting as a consultant he then took on more senior practice management roles, focusing on networking, security, data centre and unified communications, and in recent years specialising in data centre optimisation and particularly in software licensing. Having worked with large enterprise organisations, Chris understands the challenges faced in data centre licensing and the lack of expertise in the marketplace. Having founded the Derive Logic business until its acquisition by the Carlyle Group in April 2019, Chris is now on the senior executive board for the world's largest independent IT Transformation Assurance and Software/Cloud Risk Management business, Livingstone Group.
