"Broadcast TV Contribution - getting around the world - a look under the bonnet on how it is now and what is to come !".

When watching Strictly Come Dancing, the World Cup or Wimbledon, have you ever wondered how those pictures get to your TV at home.

A lot of the technology used to enable you to watch key events such as these is being developed right on your doorstep at Adastral Park. What about 4k TV and what about 3D TV – what is really important and how does the marketing differ from the reality of the technology. Andy will explain the way things are currently done, and unpack some of the future challenges and opportunities in TV land.   PLACES ARE LIMITED AND ATTENDANCE IS BY REGISTRATION ONLY.  To register please contact Nicky Daniels.   PERSONAL PROFILE - Andrew Rayner andy_rayner Andrew Rayner is VP of Engineering for Nevion and heads up the Nevion UK development team based at Adastral Park, Martlesham.  He also sits in the group CTO, providing technical direction for the evolution of the company’s media transport capabilities.
