IM Company Flowmon Networks Announces Acquisition

Kemp, the leader in powering always-on application experience today announced the acquisition of Flowmon Networks, a leader in actionable network intelligence solutions for network and security operations (NetSecOps) teams. The acquisition brings together application delivery and security services with deep network visibility and automated security incident response. Joining these capabilities together arms NetSecOps teams with early detection of advanced threats and network anomalies along with complete active feedback loops for remediation.

The network is essential to application experience, serving as the ultimate source of truth for troubleshooting application disruptions and detecting sophisticated cyber-attacks. Kemp optimizes AX with intelligent traffic steering, authentication and inline web application attack mitigation across more than 100,000 deployments worldwide. The integration with Flowmon’s comprehensive network performance monitoring and diagnostics (NPMD) and NDR solution stack will extend overall application experience control for network and security teams by increasing observability and creating a bridge between applications and the network.

Flowmon’s machine learning (ML)-driven behavior analysis and anomaly detection provides the necessary early detection of the most subtle exploits by malicious actors before they have a negative impact. Tim Jones has over 20 years’ experience providing solutions to business critical issues in highly complex network environments involving technology and services from both established and disruptive market vendors.

His core experience has been gained in network performance monitoring, optimisation and network cyber security solutions to the financial, telco, government and enterprise market place.

My role at Flowmon Networks is to bring the Flowmon brand to market so that end users can leverage Flowmon networks to meet their network and security challenges.  This is achieved by growing our partner network and building relationships within the enterprise to drive the adoption of Flowmon Networks solutions.

My main objectives are messaging our value proposition to prospective customers based on validated customer specific needs. Building a personal network of executive relationships within key customers and partners to leverage for value creation in customer references, PR, media, industry events, etc.

As part of a team managing our existing customer base and focusing on growth within our territories. Working with our Channel sales, Alliance Partners and marketing teams on lead generation, program implementation, events and training efforts.
