First ICT start up in IM Incubator moves into newly refurbished Ross building as a tenant

Innovation Martlesham is happy to announce that Disect Systems has successfully moved out of the Incubator program and into the newly refurbished Ross building as a paying tenant of Innovation Martlesham at Adastral Park.

Meet Disect Systems Ltd.

Disect Systems Ltd is a UK based developer of scanner imaging software specifically designed to run on conventional computing platforms rather than expensive bespoke solutions.

The Disect product is a software viewing system for radiology files with an integrated high definition conferencing system for sharing images in pristine quality between multiple locations. This is aimed at the health and education market.

After securing a grant from the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), Disect Systems is working with the University of Essex on the research and development of leading edge scanner technology.

Some of Disects’ customers include Cancer Research UK and St. Georges University, London.

Derek Brinkley, CEO of Disect said, “Disect Systems was the first company to enter the Innovation Martlesham Incubator at Adastral Park and has benefited from real contributions by the mentor network. As a result we are now able to stand on our own feet and move out of the incubator and into the new Ross building. We are very keen to be part of a successful ICT cluster, creating an environment in which companies like Disect Systems can succeed.”

“We are delighted that the Innovation Martlesham Incubator has successfully enabled a local ICT company to grow into a self-sustaining business,” said David Ralph, Chairman, Innovation Martlesham.  “We are also pleased that Disect Systems chose to stay within Innovation Martlesham while continuing to grow their business.  As part of Innovation Martlesham, Disect is surrounded by other like-minded ICT companies, a unique community which fosters innovation, sustainability and success.  We look forward to welcoming other ICT companies into the Incubator and into Innovation Martlesham to develop their ideas, gain valuable mentor expertise and become successful businesses.”
