A New Phase For Philips’ PhotographyFebruary 19, 2019
Philips Professional Display Solutions, the market leading digital display innovator, recently commissioned Banbury Howard, to create a brand new image library for 2019.
We were tasked with refreshing the complete image suite to showcase the state of the art screens and eye-catching display solutions. The brief was simple, to capture the vibrancy and adaptability of each screen in a believable yet aspirational space. This called for a combination of bespoke photography and creatively combing stock images to complete the project.
We started by selecting the best-fit photographer from our trusted roster. A keen eye for contemporary interiors was the deciding factor. We then moved onto casting models and scouting locations.
The Old Thorns, a Hampshire hotel, proved to be the perfect backdrop for our busy two-day shoot. Our models morphed into their roles of relaxed guests enjoying Philips hotel TVs and digital signage, covering both hotel suites and hospitality areas.

Other locations were brought to life through the meticulous selection of stock imagery and creative retouching to cover the diverse range of scenarios, spanning each vertical including education, healthcare, public venues, retail and transport.
These hero images will be the feature point of advertising, digital, direct and event marketing across Philips Professional Display Solutions’ European market. The new image suite was launched, together with two exciting new products, at ISE 2019 in Amsterdam and they are already proving to be on-point with both the brand team and consumers alike.
