Sandvine Join Innovation MartleshamNovember 13, 2015
The IM Cluster is over 70 strong and we are very pleased to now have Sandvine on board.
Sandvine’s network policy control solutions add intelligence to fixed, mobile and converged communications service provider (CSP) networks to empower CSPs to launch new services, reduce network costs and improve subscriber quality of experience for enterprises and consumers.
Since its formation in 2001 and headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Sandvine’s early success was built within a thriving community and technology hub, with the company growing to serve more than 250 operators in over 90 countries across the globe today.
Tom Donnelly, COO, Sandvine says: “We felt it was the right time to join the Innovation Martlesham cluster because it provides us the opportunity to work alongside some of the most innovative companies in the world. That is an opportunity that is too good to pass up.“
Thanks to a continued focus on investing in research and development, Sandvine now has over 500 employees around the world which enables them to solve a breadth of problems across all network access types, delivering highly-specialized solutions in a competitive field.
Sandvine’s software can be deployed both on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware via Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Sandvine’s purpose built hardware in order to perform end-to-end policy control functions including traffic classification and policy creation, decision and enforcement across the data, control and business planes.
