UCS Students Win Film Competition for 30 second video ‘’what innovation means to me’

Today Innovation Martlesham, the established high-tech cluster for ICT companies located at Adastral Park, announced the winners of the Student Film Competition.  Aaron Ranieri and Benjamin Jones won first place in the competition.  Ranieri and Jones both studied at University Campus Suffolk and have now finished their BA (Hons) Film and Media Studies degree.

The Innovative Martlesham Student Film Competition was open to students in full time education aged 18 or over with an innovative idea. Entry films needed to be 30 seconds in length as well as inspirational, thought provoking and innovative.

“This film competition has been a great way to bring the message of innovation to a wider community,” said David Ralph, Chairman of Innovation Martlesham.  “The concept of innovation is something that the ICT companies within Innovation Martlesham are continuously striving towards.  Involving our local students, to create a dialogue through film and animation about their perception of innovation, is a great way to expand the message of our initiative for innovation and growing business in this region.”
